Champ Navigator 2™
The Axis workflow drillers choose, at the quality geologists demand.
Axis’ commitment to engineering high precision measurements into driller operable workflows has driven the development of the Champ Navigator 2™; the most flexible & performative tool in the Axis range.
Building on the globally applied Champ Navigator™ platform to add true high-speed high-fidelity vertical continuous survey alongside improved North-Seek azimuth measurement, the Champ Navigator 2™ provides more flexibility for more applications; ultimately reducing surveying times, improving rig productivity and reducing standby costs.
Confidence begins at the collar with a measured North-Seek, before the measurement workflow is driven by Axis’ intuitive driller-friendly operating interface that guides the user to a high-quality survey software-supported workflows enabled by Axis onSite™ allow drillers and geologists to seamlessly send hole plans to the field, review surveys, manage approvals and adjust survey plans in real-time. Integration with customer data platforms and common drilling management software is done via the Axis Onsite API.
To survey without adding any time to drilling, the Champ Navigator 2™ supports North Seek surveying on the overshot as you pull core in.
With a standard outside diameter of 36mm (1.42”) and a 35mm (1.37”) option available, the Champ Navigator 2 is the only North-Seek Gyro which can confidently survey inside smaller rod sizes in the underground environment or inside small diameter RC innertubes.
Align your drill rig with the Navigator probe on surface or underground applications and use North Seek mode to substantiate collar azimuth for continuous survey referencing, or post collaring ahead of committing to the drill-hole.
Introducing the latest Rig Alignment mode
Navigator technology now supports a user friendly and auditable rig alignment function. Users can now quickly and confidently setup the drill rig into position and align the mast
Push data to onSite for client confidence.
